Two lottery players from Saxony won millions in the draw last Saturday. The two lucky players are the first lottery millionaires of the year in the Free State.
As announced by Sachsenlotto, a player from Leipzig was the only player in Germany to hit the jackpot in the "6 out of 49" game. He won more than 9.5 million euros. With this amount, the win is one of the top 10 big wins ever achieved in Saxony.
Another player from North Saxony was successful in the same draw. He hit the second winning rank with his six correct numbers, also as the only player in Germany, and can now look forward to around 2.2 million euros.
The two winners submitted their tickets anonymously at lottery retailers. They now have to contact Sachsenlotto.
