Dresden wins the fall championship in Unterhaching

Dynamo Dresden are the measure of all things in the 3rd Football League. A commanding 3:0 (1:0) victory at SpVgg Unterhaching secured the Saxons the fall championship. Aljaz Casar (8th minute) gave them the early lead, David Kubatta (68th) and Stefan Kutschke (74th) from the penalty spot then secured their fourth win in a row.

Dresden were eager to play right from the start. The high pressing led to early ball wins on several occasions. Unterhaching were initially unable to stop the visitors' pressing phase, which led to Casar's opening goal. SGD continued to control the game in the minutes that followed.

Haching missed chances

However, the Black & Yellows were unable to maintain the attacking momentum of the opening phase. Instead, inaccuracies crept in. One of these almost led to an equalizer at the end of the first half. But Lenn Jastremski (45.+2) was denied by Dynamo goalkeeper Tim Schreiber, who made an excellent save from close range.

The home side were also on level terms in the second half. While Julian Kügel (66') missed the chance to make it 1:1, Kubatta scored just two minutes later to make it 2:0 for his team. Joker Kutschke made everything clear a little later.
