According to media reports, Assan Ouédraogo is moving to Bundesliga club RB Leipzig. As reported by "Bild" and "Sky" on Wednesday, the Saxons have agreed a transfer fee of ten million euros with Schalke 04.
The 18-year-old midfielder has used his release clause and will receive a contract with RB until 2029. According to reports, Ouédraogo will audition for the start of training in Leipzig, after which a decision will be made as to whether the Mülheim native will initially be loaned out, as Bild writes.
Ouédraogo became European and world champion as captain of the German U17 team. Due to several injuries, he only played 17 games for Schalke last season, scoring five times.
