RB Leipzig's Amadou Haidara will miss out on the international trip with Mali due to a concussion and will stay in Germany instead. The Bundesliga club made the announcement today. The defensive midfielder suffered the injury on Saturday during the 3-2 top-of-the-table clash at Bayer Leverkusen.
In the early stages, Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface attempted a bicycle kick in the crowded penalty area. Instead of the ball, he hit Leipzig's Haidara on the head with great force. The 26-year-old was then substituted because, according to coach Marco Rose, he had "problems with the date and the score". Boniface was shown a yellow card for the action.
