The step into the Bundesliga has been intense for the young Norwegian Antonio Nusa. After his first appearances as a wild card, he says: "That was a good start.

RB Leipzig's Norwegian new signing Antonio Nusa has directly felt the adjustment to the tougher everyday life in the Bundesliga. "The quality is very good, but what I've really noticed is how much pressure and intensity there is," the 19-year-old told Norwegian broadcaster NRK. "I noticed that both in the first training session and in the first game. The way they press, the speed with the ball, everything. In training, people give everything, 110 percent."

Nusa moved to Leipzig from Belgian champions FC Brugge in mid-August. Since then, the dribbling winger has yet to make his starting debut, but has scored two goals and set up another in a total of three appearances in the Bundesliga and DFB Cup. "He's a great kid," said RB coach Marco Rose about him.

Nusa would not have expected such a debut. "It's been fantastic," he was quoted as saying by NRK. "I'm pretty happy, it's been a good start." As everything was in German, his Danish team-mate Yussuf Poulsen helped him translate.

Nusa last played for the Norwegian national team in the disappointing 0-0 Nations League draw in Kazakhstan. This evening, the Norwegians and their superstar Erling Haaland will take on Austria.
