RB Leipzig start the challenging Bundesliga program at the end of the year with the top match against Eintracht Frankfurt on Sunday (7.30 pm/DAZN). They then travel to league leaders and record champions Bayern Munich. The Saxons will be looking to pick up points in their last two games before the winter break in order to keep up with the Champions League places.
RB coach Marco Rose will be hoping that his team can repeat their performance against Frankfurt just a week and a half after the 3-0 win in the cup round of 16. Rose will be missing two other key players in the suspended Artur Vermeeren and presumably Amadou Haidara, meaning that the long-injured Xaver Schlager is likely to start.
