Former 05 professional Marco Rose has a small offensive problem against the second-best defense in the league. And after just one win from six games, the pressure in the league remains high.

Marco Rose has some shortages in attack against his former club 1. FSV Mainz 05 this Saturday (3.30pm/Sky). After the yellow card suspension of Christoph Baumgartner, the injuries to Antonio Nusa and Xaver Schlager and the questionable return of Yussuf Poulsen following his muscle problems, there are no alternatives.

"We have Kevko (Kevin Kampl), who can liven up the attacking play, we have Tidiam (Gomis), who does a very good job in training. We don't have many options, but if the lads do that well up front, are in a good mood, then maybe we don't need to change so much," said the RB Leipzig head coach, referring to the trio of Xavi Simons, Benjamin Sesko and Loïs Openda.

RB have picked up just one league win from their last six games. And now they face the second-best defense in the league. Mainz, who are level on points with RB in fifth place ahead of Leipzig, were long regarded as Leipzig's favorite opponents. Under Rose, RB recently went goalless twice at home - only 0-0, and even lost 3-0 two years ago. However, Leipzig won the first leg 2-0 in October.
