1. FC Magdeburg has extended the contract with winger Alexander Nollenberger. The Elbe city club did not disclose the term of the new employment contract; the original contract of the Memminger, who moved to Magdeburg in 2023, would have expired in the summer.

In forty second division appearances, Nollenberger has scored one goal and provided four assists for the Elbe club and has recently established himself as a regular. "Alex has done what we hoped he would do. He has developed well and is very beneficial to our game with his dribbling and clear passes," said coach Christian Titz, praising the 27-year-old's development.
