BSV Sachsen Zwickau only have a small chance of home advantage in the relegation round of the German Handball League after a draw at bottom-placed Bayer Leverkusen. The penultimate team from western Saxony only managed a 24:24 (12:13) draw at the bottom club, but overturned a three-goal deficit in the final 70 seconds.
Zwickau is now two points behind Buxtehuder SV, who are one place higher up the table and face them on Saturday. If Zwickau were to overtake the North Germans, they would have home advantage in the play-downs. However, BSV have to play Thüringer HC on the final matchday, while Buxtehude face Leverkusen.
