486 works have been submitted for the Leipzig Book Fair 2024 Prize. 177 publishers had sent their books into the race, the book fair announced Thursday. The prize is awarded in the categories of fiction, non-fiction/essay and translation. It is endowed with a total of 60,000 euros.
The nominees are to be announced on Feb. 29, 2024. The awards will be presented on the first day of the Leipzig Book Fair on March 21.
