Bundesliga club RB Leipzig have signed Giovanna Hoffmann from SC Freiburg. As the club announced on Tuesday, the 25-year-old has signed a contract until 2026. Hoffmann scored five times in 71 games for Freiburg, having previously scored 26 goals in 63 games for Werder Bremen.
"Giovanna is an experienced Bundesliga player who will strengthen us in attack. She has a strong presence and can be dangerous both up front and on the wings thanks to her speed," said Head of Sport Viola Odebrecht. "Her good finishing is an additional advantage. I am convinced that she will also help us off the pitch with her strong personality."
