Shortly before the end of the transfer period, RB Leipzig apparently lose Mohamed to Saudi Arabia. A Portuguese or a Dutchman is expected to replace him.

The transfer of Mohamed Simakan from RB Leipzig to Ronaldo's club Al-Nassr is imminent. As reported by French broadcaster "RMC Sport" and transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano, the Saudi Arabian club and the Bundesliga club have agreed on a transfer fee of around 45 million euros. Simakan is due to undergo a medical on Friday and sign a five-year contract.

Benfica Lisbon's Antonio Silva and Feyenoord Rotterdam's Lutsharel Geertruida are being discussed as replacements. The 20-year-old Silva will initially be loaned out. It remains to be seen whether the deal includes a purchase obligation or just a purchase option. The same model is likely to be considered for Geertruida, in whom the Saxons were already very interested last year. However, a transfer failed due to Feyenoord's demands.
