Saxon companies are represented for the first time this year with a joint stand at Semicon Japan, the international trade fair for the semiconductor industry. From December 11 to 13, the eight companies will be presenting the location and the industry in the Free State of Saxony in Tokyo. Both countries are attractive locations for the industry and have been able to attract TSMC, the world's largest chip manufacturer, as an investor, according to the Saxony Economic Development Corporation as a partner of the presentation. It sees numerous points of contact for exhibitors and visitors.
The trade fair appearance will also be used to present Saxony as a leading center of the semiconductor and microelectronics industry in Europe. The focus will be on discussions with potential investors about market and business opportunities in "Silicon Saxony".
