Saxon farmers are distancing themselves from demonstrations and actions planned by political actors in the wake of the farmers' protests in the coming week. There are attempts at fraternization that are not in the interests of the farmers, said Diana Henke, spokeswoman for the state farmers' association, in Dresden on Friday. "We are not talking about subversion, we are concerned with economic and competitive agriculture. We distance ourselves from wild, uncontrolled demonstrations." Among other things, a demonstration registered in Dresden under the motto "Day of Resistance" had nothing to do with farmers.
