After the outbreak of bird flu in domestic poultry in Vogtland in September, the district office has now given the all-clear. According to the authority, no new cases of infection have occurred. The protective measures and restricted areas will therefore be lifted this Wednesday. This marks the end of the compulsory confinement imposed by the veterinary office, which affected poultry farms in Muldenhammer, Klingenthal, Schöneck, Grünbach, Werda, Neustadt, Bergen, Falkenstein, Ellefeld, Rodewisch and Auerbach.
