The Zwickau art collections are back with a new exhibition space. After the original building was closed in the summer for several years of renovation, some of the treasures are now being displayed in the former gallery at the Domhof. The aim is to provide a completely fresh look at the collection, said museum director Petra Lewey. For example, works of art from several centuries will be staged under the title "FarbRAUM" (color space) based on their colors. In "MaxRAUM", visitors can enjoy a multimedia presentation of the South Sea voyage by expressionist Max Pechstein.
The interim home will open next weekend. Admission will then be free, but due to limited space, please reserve a time slot on the Kunstsammlungen website.
