The relegation-threatened Bundesliga club VfL Bochum will still have to do without captain Anthony Losilla, who is ill. The 38-year-old Frenchman will also not make the squad for the game against RB Leipzig on Saturday (3.30pm/Sky), said coach Dieter Hecking the day before the match.
After Wednesday's win against fellow rivals FC St. Pauli (1:0), Hecking has more hope than before the start of the second half of the season. "We were almost out of the window, but now we're a bit back in it. I can see the group, it's fun to work with them. The boys have accepted the situation," said the 60-year-old, but also warned: "But we're not lying in each other's arms rejoicing either, we haven't achieved anything yet." After 17 games, Bochum are bottom of the table.
