After numerous defensive departures in recent weeks, Dynamo Dresden have added an experienced defender in Lukas Boeder. The 27-year-old comes from Saarland.

Dynamo Dresden have made another new signing. Lukas Boeder will play for the Black & Yellows in the future. This was announced by the third division club on Tuesday. The 27-year-old central defender last played for league rivals 1. FC Saarbrücken. As Boeder's contract with the Saarland club expires at the end of June, the defensive player will join the Saxons on a free transfer. The club has recently stopped making any statements about the duration of the contract.

In the past season, Boeder played 45 competitive matches for FCS, including five games in the DFB Cup. The defender was on the pitch in the victories over FC Bayern Munich, Eintracht Frankfurt and Borussia Mönchengladbach.

"In Lukas, we were able to recruit a seasoned and experienced third division player for our sports club, who has also already played in the Bundesliga 2. With his combative and clear style of play, he can lead the way in defense and also help shape the build-up play," said David Fischer, Managing Director Communications at SGD.
