Paul Lehmann has only rarely been able to showcase his great talent this season due to injury. However, the club is convinced of his worth.

Dynamo Dresden will continue to rely on home-grown Paul Leehmann in the future. The 20-year-old has extended his expiring contract with the Saxons, for whom he has played since childhood. This was announced by the third-division soccer club.

"Paul has had a very difficult season so far, which has been repeatedly marked by injuries that have forced him to take breaks. Nevertheless, we are absolutely convinced of his quality. We now want to continue to support him in laying the physical foundations so that he can return to full fitness on the pitch in the coming months," said Thomas Brendel, Managing Director Sport.

Lehmann began his footballing career at Dynamo at the age of six. In the years that followed, the defender played for all of SGD's youth teams. In September 2022, Lehmann made his professional debut against MSV Duisburg.
