Dynamo Dresden will have to do without Andi Hoti in their fight to return to the 2nd Bundesliga. The central defender suffered a muscle injury in his thigh in training and will be out for several weeks. It remains to be seen whether the third division leaders will be able to call on the 22-year-old on loan again.
"Andi's absence hurts us. After joining our team in the winter, he was able to integrate quickly and also become a permanent fixture in our defense," said sporting director Thomas Brendel.
Hoti moved from Magdeburg to Dresden on loan in the winter. The Kosovo international quickly established himself as a regular and has been a fixture in central defense in recent weeks. Hoti was already absent for the 2-2 draw against Ingolstadt on Wednesday evening.
