Second division soccer club Hertha BSC has loaned out right-back Julian Eitschberger to third division club Hallescher FC for a season. The 19-year-old is to gain match practice in Halle, as the Berliners announced on Friday shortly before the end of the transfer period. "With the commitment, we respond to the long-term absences of Niklas Kreuzer and Marvin Ajani. Our thanks to Hertha BSC, for the concession in the contract," said Halle sports director Thomas Sobotzik according to a statement from the third-league club.

Eitschberger came to the Hertha academy in 2017 and passed through various junior teams. He also appeared in two Bundesliga games for the Berliners.
