RB Leipzig coach Marco Rose is not expecting any surprises in the Bundesliga match against VfL Bochum. "I know how Tommy ticks," the 47-year-old said of his VfL colleague Thomas Letsch. As "proactive, vertical, fast towards the goal, high ball wins," Rose described the game idea of his former Salzburg companion on Friday. Only the tactical lineup is unclear.
In the game on Saturday (15.30 clock/Sky) Rose must do without a number of players. Dani Olmo, Willi Orban and El Chadaille Bitshiabu are missing longer anyway, in addition Benjamin Henrichs is not available because of a muscle injury. With the Kevin Kampl suffering from hip problems, it is still unclear whether it is enough.
After the highlight matches against Bayern Munich (2:2) and Manchester City (1:3), the Leipzigers long for the international break. "It's a lot right now," Rose said. "In the overall constellation at the end of such a long block, of course it's a challenge. But we don't tend to underestimate VfL Bochum."
VfL has yet to win a game this Bundesliga season and has already conceded 19 goals after six matches. Leipzig, on the other hand, has not lost in five games and could take the lead in the standings.
