Police officers have detected several speeding violations in the district of Bautzen. One man was driving particularly fast.

A driver in Bernsdorf (Bautzen district) was driving more than twice as fast as the speed limit. Instead of the permitted 50 kilometers per hour, the man drove past the checkpoint at 107 kilometers per hour, according to the Görlitz police. He must therefore expect a fine of 560 euros, two points and a two-month driving ban. Officers detected a total of 13 speeding violations at the checkpoint on Saturday.
