The pianist Jisu Park has been selected for the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) prize at the Dresden University of Music. This was announced by the university on Friday.

"Jisu Park is an exceptionally talented and dedicated student," wrote Professor Valtteri Rauhalammi in the review for the prize. The student uses her skills and talent for the development of her fellow students by accompanying them on the piano. Park also represents the University of Music on the big stages, for example at the Semperoper Dresden and the Deutsche Oper Berlin.

The DAAD Prize, which is endowed with 1000 euros each, is awarded annually at German universities and colleges for very good performance and social commitment to foreign students. The public award ceremony is scheduled for January 21.
