Train travelers through central Germany must be prepared for longer journey times: There are currently disruptions on the ICE route between Halle/Leipzig and Erfurt, said a Deutsche Bahn spokeswoman. Deutsche Bahn is also providing information about the disruption online.
The reason for this is a technical fault in the Jüdendorf/Steigra area in Saxony-Anhalt. ICE trains are being rerouted and delayed by around 60 minutes, and individual ICE trains are also being canceled, according to online information. It is not yet possible to predict when the disruption will be rectified, the spokeswoman said.
