Further increase in corporate insolvencies in Saxony

The number of company insolvencies has risen again in Saxony. In the first half of the year, 437 companies filed a corresponding application with the local courts. This is an increase of almost 16 percent compared to the same period last year, according to the State Statistical Office in Kamenz. Creditors filed claims amounting to 332.9 million euros. Companies from the construction industry were the hardest hit, followed by trade.
