A 60-year-old woman has been hit and seriously injured by a car in the district of Bautzen. According to the police, an 86-year-old driver drove straight towards a group of people in the municipality of Haselbachtal on Friday afternoon for reasons as yet unknown. According to the information, two women were able to swerve out of the way, but the 60-year-old woman was hit by the vehicle. She was seriously injured and flown to a clinic. Further background to the incident was initially unclear.
