150,000 guests visited the Haus-Garten-Freizeit trade fair in Leipzig with 750 exhibitors from 20 countries, while the Mitteldeutsche Handwerksmesse trade fair was taking place.

The approaching spring is also arousing the interest of gardening enthusiasts. On Sunday, Leipziger Messe drew a positive conclusion from its Haus-Garten-Freitzeit event, which has been running since February 10 in combination with the Central German Craft Fair. A total of almost 150,000 guests visited the stands of 750 exhibitors from 20 countries.

"The trade fair duo has once again shown that real encounters and experiences are very important to people. Information and advice in a personal exchange are irreplaceable for our visitors," said Martin Buhl-Wagner, Managing Director of Leipziger Messe. "Customers are preparing for the next gardening season - that also gives us good business after the trade fair," the head of Wama Gewächshäuser, Christoph Mauden, was quoted as saying.

Novations are planned for the trade fair. In future, the exhibition is to be held under the title "Handwerk live" and will have a fresh design. Various trades will also be able to be experienced in action. Next year, the double trade fair will take place from February 8 to 16.
