According to a ZDF projection, the AfD received significantly more votes than any other party in eastern Germany in the Bundestag elections. According to the projection, the AfD has significantly more votes than the SPD (11.3 percent), Greens (6.8 percent) and FDP (3.3 percent) combined. It also has almost twice as many votes as the CDU/CSU with 17.8%. According to the projection, the Left Party received 13.2 percent of the vote in the East - the BSW 10.2 percent.
