The federal police in eastern Saxony have warned citizens not to drive refugees across the border in their cars. They are currently investigating indications that Germans are being targeted by smugglers on their return journey from Leknica in Poland to Bad Muskau, they said. "The criminals apparently want to persuade the travelers to take third-country nationals who are not in possession of required documents with them to Germany." Those who engage in this may be committing the crime of smuggling foreigners, it said.
