Thousands demonstrate against the AfD in Leipzig

Several thousand people demonstrated against the AfD and the arch-conservative Union of Values in Leipzig on Monday evening. The police initially estimated the number at around 5,000 on request. The alliance "Leipzig nimmt Platz" (Leipzig takes a stand) had called for the demonstration under the title "Enough is enough!". The demonstrators chanted "Never again fascism" and participants had written "noAfD" and "AfD = Nazi party" on placards.
