Charles Callison is the new captain of the German Basketball League club Syntainics MBC. Head Coach Janis Gailitis appointed the 29-year-old as the new team captain ahead of this Saturday's cup game in Gießen; his deputy is John Bryant.
"We on the coaching staff want to realign the team hierarchy a bit by emphasizing Charles even more as a leader. We are convinced that this role will give him an additional performance boost. He will be supported by John, whose experience makes him a leader on the pitch anyway," said the Latvian Gailitis.
