The RB Leipzig women's soccer team missed out on their first away win in the Bundesliga. The promoted team drew 1-1 (0-1) at bottom-of-the-table MSV Duisburg on Friday evening. Lydia Andrade (9th minute) scored early for Leipzig, Antonia Halverkamps (90.+1) equalized late on for Duisburg. RB remain tenth in the table.

After a crossbar goal from Vanessa Fudalla in the eighth minute made things dangerous for MSV, Lydia Andrade gave them the lead just under a minute later. Leipzig continued to dominate the game after that, but there were no dangerous moves towards goal from either side until half-time.

Shortly after the restart, the ball was in the Duisburg goal again, but Sandra Starke's goal was taken back for offside (50'). The game was then sluggish. Leipzig allowed Duisburg to get into their own penalty area more and tried to launch counterattacks. This created a few chances for the hosts from Duisburg, which they were able to capitalize on in the first minute of stoppage time. Halverkamps scored with a shot.
