RB Leipzig can only beat Bayer Leverkusen again with an exceptional performance. As in the first leg, when the Saxons inflicted the only Bundesliga defeat on the Werkself to date, the aim is to spring a surprise against the German champions this Saturday (3.30pm/Sky). "We need a top performance in all areas tomorrow, we have to be wide awake from the start, defend everything away, but also set the tone ourselves," said head coach Marco Rose and emphasized: "We did really well in the first leg and I think a wild game can also do us good tomorrow."
Goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi's involvement is still open. Even if the Hungarian, who had problems with his shoulder, is feeling better, Rose does not want to make a decision until after the final training session. Midfielder Xaver Schlager is still sidelined, but Castello Lukeba is back in team training. The Frenchman would be an option for Leverkusen.
