The ThSV Eisenach remains a power at home. In the Werner-Aßmann-Halle, the handball Bundesliga club surprisingly won against the favored Rhein-Neckar Löwen 29:26 (13:13) on Monday evening. In front of 3150 loud spectators, Eisenach's Alexander Saul was the best scorer of the home seven with seven goals. Less happily ran from ThSV view the draw of the eighth-final plays of the DHB cup in the half-time break: The Thuringians must occur on 12. or 13 December instead of in the loved own resounds away with the HSV Hamburg.
