The remains of the destroyed train of the Dresden Carola Bridge on the Old Town side have been demolished. A special machine is currently turning the debris into fine rubble - then the excavators move on.

The partial collapse of Dresden's Carola Bridge is now also a matter for the police and the public prosecutor's office. They are investigating the criminal relevance of the incident.
