Six people have been injured, one of them seriously, in an accident in Großrückerswalde in the Erzgebirgskreis district. According to the police on Sunday, a 37-year-old driver steered too far to the left on an incline with a slight left-hand bend and crashed into the side of two oncoming cars. His 81-year-old passenger was seriously injured as a result of the collision on Saturday. Rescue workers took her to hospital. The drivers of all three vehicles involved and the passenger in one of the oncoming cars were slightly injured. They were taken to hospital for outpatient treatment. The police estimate the damage to be around 21,000 euros. In the meantime, the road was fully closed for four hours.
