Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia want to woo new settlements and investments at the Expo Real real estate fair in Munich. Twenty-nine exhibitors, including cities, counties and companies, will present the region at the fair from Oct. 4 to 6, the Central German Metropolitan Region announced Friday. People from politics and business will hold discussions at the joint stand and present the region. The organizers hope to attract interest from other companies after U.S. chipmaker Intel settled in Magdeburg and Taiwanese chipmaker TSMC in Dresden. The federal government is providing subsidies of several billion euros to help the two corporations locate here.
