Oliver Batista Meier, who according to the club was recently taken ill, is healthy again and traveled to the training camp of third-division soccer club Dynamo Dresden in Belek on Sunday evening. The attacker, whose loan to league rivals SC Verl was ended prematurely, is due to train with the team for the first time since his return on Monday. However, this is unlikely to change the hardened fronts between the club and the player. Should Dynamo receive a suitable offer for Batista Meier, the club is prepared to part company with the top scorer (nine goals, ten assists) in the 3rd division. Second-division clubs SC Paderborn and Hamburger SV are said to be interested.
As second in the table, Dresden have a return to the 2nd Bundesliga in their own hands. On January 20, coach Markus Anfang's team will face SV Sandhausen to kick off the second half of the season.
