Sandra Hüller has a chance of winning a Golden Globe. The 45-year-old actress was nominated on Monday in Beverly Hills for her role in the legal drama "Anatomy of a Case". In the film by French director Justine Triet, Hüller plays a successful writer suspected of murder.
Hüller comes from Suhl and lives in Leipzig. In the current season, she is appearing at Schauspiel Leipzig in the play "Der Würgeengel. Psalms and Pop Songs" at Schauspiel Leipzig.
Hüller will be joined by five other actresses in the "Best Actress in a Motion Picture Drama" category at the Golden Globes, including Lily Gladstone ("Killers of the Flower Moon"), Carey Mulligan ("Maestro") and Annette Bening ("Nyad").
The nominations for the Golden Globes in 27 film and television categories were announced in Beverly Hills on Monday. The trophies are to be awarded on January 7, 2024.
