Erzgebirge Aue have also won their second game of the season. The third-division soccer team won 2:0 (0:0) against relegated VfL Osnabrück. Aue new signing Mika Clausen (57th minute) and Boris Tashchy (87th) scored in front of 14,000 spectators at the Stadion An der Bremer Brücke
Aue set the tone in the 8th minute. Marcel Stefaniak's corner found Marcel Bär, who only hit the crossbar. Both teams then repeatedly produced strong attacking moves, but the goalkeepers were able to defuse them. Boris Tashchy managed to score in the second minute of stoppage time, but the score remained 0-0 at half-time.
As in the first half, Aue started better after the break. A cross from Mirnes Pepic found Bär, who in turn headed on to Mika Clausen (57'). The newcomer also scored with his head to make it 1:0 for the Violets and record his first goal for Aue. Just ten minutes later, Clausen shot dangerously at goal again, but this time only hit the post. The relegated Osnabrück side were largely unimaginative and Boris Tashchy made it 2-0 in the 87th minute with a goal from twelve meters out.
