Kathrin Pichlmeier will leave the handball Bundesliga club Thüringer HC at the end of the season and end her career for personal reasons. This was announced by the 28-year-old's club, for whom she played for two years.

"Her passion, professionalism and commitment on and off the pitch have enriched our club. She will always remain a valued part of our history at THC and we would like to thank her for her great achievements and the valuable time she shared with us," read a press release.
