The business operations of the insolvent aluminum casting specialist HAL-Guss have been secured until the summer. Agreements have been concluded with the company's most important customers to secure financing until at least the end of July, as the insolvency administrator, the law firm Danko, announced on Tuesday. Parallel to this, a possible investor solution is being worked on.

The aluminum casting specialist filed for insolvency in mid-December. All three of the group's companies in Plauen, Bitterfeld and Leipzig are affected. The wages and salaries of around 120 employees had been secured until the beginning of March via insolvency benefits. Now the company has to pay the personnel costs again from its current income.

Aluminum parts are produced in Bitterfeld using the casting process, while the raw parts are processed in Plauen. Structural, engine and transmission parts are manufactured for the automotive and commercial vehicle industry. The Group's administrative functions are bundled at the Leipzig site. The Group's most recent annual turnover was around 25 million euros.
