Passengers will soon be able to fly directly to Düsseldorf again from Leipzig/Halle Airport. "Starting on April 8, Eurowings will once again be connecting Leipzig/Halle Airport directly with the North Rhine-Westphalian state capital of Düsseldorf," Mitteldeutsche Flughafen AG announced in Leipzig on Friday. The connections can be booked with immediate effect.
The scheduled flights between Leipzig/Halle and Düsseldorf were suspended in November 2021 due to weak demand caused by the pandemic. The flights will be offered on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Eurowings is a subsidiary of the Lufthansa Group.
