With 2 per mille alcohol in his blood, a driver forgets to pull the handbrake. In the end, even the technical aid organization has to be called out.

A drunk driver caused an accident in Schöneck in the Vogtland district, at the end of which a garage threatened to collapse. The 36-year-old forgot to pull the handbrake when getting out of his van on Monday evening, according to the police. The vehicle rolled down a sloping road and crashed into another car.

The van came to a halt against the front of a garage. The impact was so severe that the garage was in danger of collapsing after the vehicle was recovered. The technical aid organization then secured the garage. According to the police, an alcohol test revealed a level of over 2 per mille. In total, property damage of around 80,000 euros was caused.
