The Kleinwelka Dinosaur Park opens on April 5 with exciting new features. Visitors can walk over dinosaur tracks, let off steam on a jumping pillow and look into the belly of a Triceratops.

The dinosaur park in Kleinwelka near Bautzen is opening its doors with new attractions. The season starts on April 5, as the park announced. For around six months, visitors will be able to discover more than 200 dinosaur models on the 16-hectare site.

During the winter break, several new stations were created on the site, which was visited by 223,000 people last year. These include a jumping pillow measuring around four by six meters where children can let off steam. On the barefoot path with 23 fields, young and old can walk over ropes, pine cones and gravel, among other things, and dinosaur tracks are also hidden there. Visitors can look inside the belly of a Triceratops model. There is also a new station with information about the history of the park and its founder, Franz Gruß.

Admission has been increased by two euros and costs 19 euros for a one-way ticket at the box office, online it is 18 euros. Families with two adults and two children pay 60 euros. Up to the age of three, admission is free of charge.
