After the first talks in Thuringia, Saxony and Brandenburg, it remains to be seen whether her party will participate in state governments, according to BSW leader Sahra Wagenknecht. In Saxony, the CDU apparently does not agree on cooperation with the BSW and SPD, said the leader of the alliance, Sahra Wagenknecht, in Berlin. In Thuringia, the SPD is undecided. In Brandenburg, the situation was "perhaps a little better". There it is only a matter of two parties - SPD and BSW.
On the decision-making process in her own party and her own role in it, she said: "Just like other parties, we are also coordinating and will ultimately decide together whether it is enough or whether it may not be enough." She hoped that it would succeed. The BSW has the voters' vote to help push through sensible policies in the three states.
Wagenknecht again mentioned the goals of strengthening diplomatic solutions in foreign policy and preventing the deployment of US missiles. If this succeeds and there are improvements in state policy, then "I will be very happy". But the BSW will not "bring a bad government into office", emphasized Wagenknecht. "The BSW is also liable for what we do at state level."
