Several people obstruct the removal of illegal election posters in Dresden, legal action threatened.

Multiple people have interfered with the removal of illegally placed election posters in Dresden. According to information from the city hall on Friday, a city employee interrupted the operation on Thursday due to a confusing situation. The state capital is considering legal action against the individuals. Several employees took down the four remaining posters together on Friday. It was necessary to take them down because they were less than the permitted minimum distance of 20 meters from official buildings of the city, the Free State of Saxony and the Federal Republic of Germany as well as schools, according to the statement.

According to the statement, the city employee was first filmed by a person "who could be assigned to the Free Saxony party" and then asked what he was doing and why he was taking down the Free Saxony posters. He was then told to speak to a party official. After the phone call, several people joined in and the "unsettled" employee withdrew.
