SV Darmstadt have announced their next new signing for the upcoming second division season. Midfielder Paul Will joins from third division club Dresden.

Bundesliga relegated SV Darmstadt 98 has signed Paul Will from third-division soccer club Dynamo Dresden. The 25-year-old midfielder moves to Hesse on a free transfer, as Darmstadt announced on Monday.

"I'm looking forward to Paul and the qualities he brings with him. He is a strategically-minded six-man who is fully committed to his team with his mentality. He has been an undisputed regular in Dresden in recent years and has already gained a lot of match experience there as well as second division experience," said Lilies coach Torsten Lieberknecht.

Will was trained in the youth ranks of 1. FC Kaiserslautern, among others. The former junior international then moved to FC Bayern Munich II before moving to Dresden for the 2020/2021 season. He played more than 120 competitive matches for Dynamo.
