After two games without a win, Erzgebirge Aue have recorded another success. The third-division club won 2:1 (2:0) against SV Wehen Wiesbaden in front of 6552 spectators. Marvin Stefaniak (11th minute) and Mika Clausen (33rd) scored for Aue and Moritz Flotho (90th) for the visitors from Wiesbaden at the Erzgebirge Stadium.
Although Wiesbaden were the more dominant team at the start, Aue scored the first goal with their first chance. Stefaniak (11') scored for the fourth time this season after a cross from Pascal Fallmann reached him perfectly. Both teams were then level in all respects, but Aue were more composed and effective. In the 33rd minute, Mika Clausen suddenly found himself completely free in front of goal, delayed and scored from the middle to make it 2-0.
In the second half, the visitors from Wiesbaden continued to lack a bright idea. All dicey situations, of which there were not many in the second half, took place in the Wiesbaden penalty area. It was not until the 77th minute that Nikolas Agrafiotis had the equalizer on his feet, but shot half a metre to the left of the goal. Shortly before the end, Moritz Flotho (90') managed to score the equalizer. After a corner from Ivan-Leon Franjic, Flotho headed over Martin Männel to make it 2-1. However, the comeback began too late.
